Wikipedia 3D

 

Bryan C. Russell, de Intel Labs, y un equipo de investigadores de la University of Washington, han desarrollado un programa que extrae y analiza imágenes provenientes de sitios como Flickr y Google Images para generar contenido 3D compatible con búsquedas de sitios turísticos en Wikipedia.

El objetivo general de este proyecto es el de enlazar contenido estático, en formato de textos e imágenes, con contenido dinámico, en un entorno  tridimensional.
