V-Ray 3.0 introduce la funcionalidad VRmat para 3ds Max.
Los VRmats (anteriormente Vismats) son Shaders universales de V-Ray cuya principal característica es que permiten ser utilizados en múltiples plataformas. Lo anterior quiere decir que, por ejemplo, un material VRmat puede ser creado en V-Ray para 3ds Max, y posteriormente transferido a V-Ray para Maya, SketchUp o Rhino, en forma directa.
La nueva funcionalidad de VRmats abre la puerta a un mundo de posibilidades para el intercambio de materiales.
