Usando su más ingeniosa invención, la máquina WABAC, Mr. Peabody y su hijo adoptivo, Sherman viajarán en el tiempo para experimentar de primera mano acontecimientos los que cambiaron el mundo, llegando a interactuar con algunos de los personajes más grandes de la historia. Pero cuando Sherman rompe las reglas del viaje en el tiempo, nuestros dos héroes se verán envueltos en una carrera para reparar el pasado, y salvar el futuro…
