Stratasys Lanza la Impresora 3D Multi-material Objet500 Connex3

Stratasys acaba de revelar su revolucionaria impresora 3D Multi-material, la Objet500 Connex3, en la expo SolidWorks 2014, en San Diego, California.
Esta impresora es la primera con la habilidad de combinar múltiples colores y materiales.

La Objet500 Connex3 cuenta con una tecnología que combina pequeñas cantidades de hasta 3 tipos de materiales base, para generar piezas con diferentes tamaños y formas. Su valor está estimado en US$330.000.

Los materiales base pueden ser goma o plástico, rígidos, elásticos, o transparentes, otorgando un gran nivel de flexibilidad para la confección y estudio de prototipos.

De la misma manera que una impresora de inyección de tinta, los 3 colores básicos, cian, magenta y amarillo, se combinan para producir objetos con cientos de tonalidades diferentes.

La impresora 3D Multi-material Objet500 Connex3 estará disponible a partir de hoy, pero los materiales de color flexibles llegarán a mediados de 2014.
