Hum3D | Space Rover Challenge

In this difficult times of quarantine Hum3D has come up with a great initiative to keep us busy: A 3D competition.

In their own words…

“The best way to spend time in the spring is improve your skills and make new amazing art for your portfolio. Welcome to the new annual 3D art challenge!

What you need to do: a space rover – vehicle that can explore a ground of planets and survive in dangerous worlds. You can choose any related vehicle, from Sci-Fi off-road rovers with guns and huge wheels to existed NASA projects – we don’t limit your creative ideas. Participation in the contest is open to all comers, whose works comply with the rules.

We will pay attention to the visual component of your works, but this is not all that you need to win. The idea of the work is also very important for jury, as well as its presentation, complicacy (both of the model and of the scene) and quality of performance.

The contest is supported by the best companies of the 3D world, and so the prizes are amazing. Also, everyone has an opportunity to receive an additional prizes and win Oculus Rift S – just read additional conditions!

We’re waiting for your works from March 18 to June 3.
