A very interesting tutorial by Mike Golden, AKA droquis, on how to simulate wet/dry coastline rocks with 3ds Max and FStorm.

This same technique can be used with almost any other renderer, such as V-Ray or Corona Renderer.

There’s also a really cool tip for creating water at the beginning of the video.
